All right, I bought this "gal" as a 5 week old. After week or two she had a bright red comb and posted it here and she was though to be a roo, due to redness and slow feathering. She is now 13 weeks old, comb is still red, but has not grow much. She started growing tail feathers about a week and a half ago. I know this is slow growing breed, could that explain why the feathers are coming in so slowly and she isnt a roo, cause I would have though she would have more comb development if she really is a roo. She has thick legs, but she has me so confused as to whether she is a roo of pullet.

Looks like a pullet. Could she be older than 13 weeks? Are you sure she was 5 wks when you got her?

This is a picture from a couple of days after we got her. We actually got her at four weeks old.

Looks like a hen, but "her" comb is awful red. [IMG]
