Is that considered normal? We got her from a breeder, I've checked the "checklist" and it seems I'm doing everything fine... I even checked the Quail forum and yes she's getting enough light, food, etc.... The only bird I know now who started laying later was a silkie, 9 months
She has only begun to squat for me and her comb has been red orever... no she can't be laying anywhere else, I comb the enclosure daily. How can I kickstart laying? I heard something about chilis...?
