Greetings;

We started our flock in October. We got a light Sussex (hatched end of July), an Orpington Buff and an Ameraucana (both hatched in end of August).

This Week both our Orpington Buff and our Ameraucana started producing eggs. :) Yeah!!! But for some reason our Light Sussex, has not started yet, even if she is older then the other too.

Should I worry it's a rooster or could she simply be a late layer ?

She’s a definite pullet. She’ll likely come into lay within the next few weeks to a month at the latest, her comb looks to be reddening up nicely.
