I have 5 - 8 week old light sussex. Trying to figure out sex.

There is no difference in the comb or wattles. Almost no wattles and all light pink almost white.
Combs are very small.

Should I see a difference at this age? Is it really possible that I have all females?

At 8 weeks some differences should be showing up. Any way to post pictures?

I once got 7 out of 7 Buff Orp pullets, a less than 1% chance, so I believe it can happen. You odds of all pullets out of 5 is better than 3%.

5 male 0 female - 1 in 32 or 3.1%
4 male 1 female - 5 in 32 or 15.6%
3 male 2 female - 10 in 32 or 31.3%
2 male 3 female - 10 in 32 or 31.3%
1 male 4 female - 5 in 32 or 15.6%
0 male 5 female - 1 in 32 or 3.1%

Good luck!!

Pretty sure those are all girls! I should have some extra cockerels, I am hatching now. I will have Coronations and Coronation Splits, but I will not be able to tell you which ones carry the Lavender gene, since my Pair will throw 25% Coronation, 25% Light Sussex and 50% Split Coronations.

My Roo is a very nice boy, he weighs around 13 lbs and is bright white.

Pretty girls you have there.
