Hi
I have a batch of 6 1/2 week old colored rangers. One is lame, looks like the joint that would be his knee if he were a person. It buckles under him when he walks. He can get around, it holds his weight a little. Doesn't look dislocated or broken completely but he's quite lame on it. I have him in dog crate for today, naturally I have a double shift today.
How long should I give him to see if he's going to improve? I hate to cull now, half way to processing day...but I don't want to have him in pain either...can you give aspirin to birds?
any suggestions appreciated.
