Give me some ideas of animals that I can raise that will give me something in return. I'm not looking into bigger livestock like cows though.

    Thanks!~AnimalPro

Pygmy goats. We have 2 little girls and we love them, as well as my horse
The goats are fun to watch and eventually will give milk which you can sell and make money

Pigs, rabbits, chickens and turkeys of course. I say these cause you said to give you something in return and I assume you mean for food?

Along the same line as arabianequine....rabbits, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs...in that order as far as feed/meat ratio.

I'm not looking into meat animals though. I know it's a dumb question cause the answer is mostly birds...

Ducks and chicken will give eggs, Goats, sheep can give milk, some breeds of rabbits give wool along with the sheep of course. I collect feathers from my ducks/chickens/turkeys and make jewelry with them. Almost all the animals I listed will give you some nice fertilizer, and ducks and chickens are great at pest control. And Muscovy ducks are the ultimate at bringing down the fly population [IMG]

Now that I think about it this was a really stupid question! Hahahahahaha! Mostly eggs so what kind of birds, other then chickens and ducks, do you raise for eggs?
