So I've been raising my very small flock for about four years now and for the second time in several weeks i have a sick chicken. I wormed them a few weeks ago. my first sick one year old Easter Egger girl passed away, she was exhibiting very slow movement, low energy and not real interested in treats. Now my two year old brown Leghorn is acting the same way and she is very pale. She did eat some treats, but moves in very slow motion. Same exact symptoms. All my girls have stopped laying. Molting has slowed and they seem to be getting feathers back. Hmmmm.....help?

Are there any signs of color change in their poop? Wheezing?

Not that I can tell. Its hard to check poop as they're all in together.

Did you do anything new? Open a new bag of feed?

Depending on what state you are in, some states offer necropsy services. It might be worth it if this one passes away to have it done. Then at least you would know what you are dealing with.

She's acting the same way today. No changes in feed, although its been really humid here lately, maybe an invisible mold? I will definitely get a necropsy if she passes. So weird to happen the same way to both. A third chicken died weeks before the last one (mentioned in post), but I was out of town, so I didn't witness her behavior. Frustrating!!!
