Little Giant Still Air Incubator

OK... so this is my first hatch. I have a Little Giant Still Air incubator. There's a temperature / humidity probe that sits on top of the eggs during incubation. as I'm moving into the hatch, does anyone know if I should remove the probe. It looks to me like it might get in the way as the chicks start hatching.
