Keep your temps and humidity where it needs to be and it should work fine.

I just did a dry hatch out of a LG. I liked it better than having to worry over humidity. I left it in my kitchen and didnt have 1 degree temp fluctuation.

Ive always had a pleasing hatch out of my LG
    Good luck!

Got the idea of using the LG as a hatcher from CHookschick. So I built an incubator and I'm giving it a test run with multiple hatching dates.

I will need to regulate temp between hatches as chicks can use a higher temp but turkeys need a lower temp with a much higher %RH.

    Give it a go.

Well hooked it up and been trying to stabilize the temp.
Sarahfair- so you didnt put any water in it and they were fine?

I did put in a dish of water on lockdown (make sure its tall enough.. Ive had a chick fall in and drown) and they were fine.
