Little Miss Mille - Painted hen on cabinet panel

I've been painting poultry for a while and I gotta say the mille pattern is as difficult to paint as it is to breed for. But, I think Little Miss Mille turned out nicely and she's ready for a home of her own. No reserve.

The panel is app. 15" x 17"

Thanks so much. And easy trick which I sometimes do

is find an image online that you like ..say a hen in a perfect pose. Put a sheet of paper on your computer screen and it works lik a lightbox. Trace the general outline, then color in with whatever pattern... add feather detail and voila!

Chicken magic!!

I do draw a lot from scratch but, it seems I get proportions messed up a lot and have to erase half a chicken and start over ... gets old.
