Does anyone know what the livestock laws are in Montgomery County, MD? It's a suburban neighborhood, so I wouldn't be keeping any roos, but I haven't been able to find out how many hens I can have (or if I can have them). Any info? Thanks!

I am in Harford County and I am trying to find out the same thing, how many hens I can have. I live in a town house and I have not been able to get any information yet. If anyone knows I would appreciate any info that is out there.

An owner must not allow a domestic or exotic bird, including a homing pigeon, to be in an aviary within 100 feet of any structure used for human habitation or work. This does not apply to a bird inside the owner's dwelling, in a pet shop, in an agricultural area, or in a market for less than 24 hours for sale for human consumption.
    Penalty for Violation - $100
This is the Montgomery County,MD law :(
