I have an EE named Blue who tries to crow. In olden times my grandfather would say it was bad luck to have a hen crow (hahahaha) but its funny nonetheless. Do not know what makes then crow.......but your Hen is adorable!

I’ve heard of that. Her comb and wattles don’t look overly large to me and she certainly looks like a hen! I’ll be interested to see what others have to say.

What got me started is a friend of mine gave me a book yesterday. It has examples of all the breeds and pictures of the male and female of each. Well Lizzie looks just like the picture of the australorp rooster!!!

No, no rooster but recently my #1 hen passed, Lizzie had always been #3, with Lucys passing she zipped into #1. I had only 3 to start with ,2 wyandottes and Lizzie.
