Here to say I am new to the world of raising chickens, have a friend that has been very helpful!
On her reccomendation I have joined the chicken forum. I look forward to learning more about
the wonderful world of chickens.
Have some questions and concerns. First and formost is: Some barn swallows got into the hen
house. I am concerned because I know outside birds can infect our chickens. Besides the obvious,
sealing up the holes, is there anything I need to do to the hen house? What are the suggestions out
there. Do I need to worrie? Thanks for your reply

I wouldn't see a problem, just like punky stated. As long as they were healthy. After all, even when free ranging them, wild birds do come in contact with them.
