I noticed in the Meat Bird forum, there was a topic for those that are willing to aid and teach newbies in processing.
Being new to raising chickens, myself and a few others I'm sure would benefit greatly from having local "guru's" that would be willing to share some of thier experience.
The forum is a great place to start, but having people with experience in a region or area, have picked up little tricks and things that work best in that climate.
Not knowing much about chickens, I would be happy to offer my experience as a carpenter to assit those needing to build a coop for example, in exchange for learning how to better care for my flock.
Just a thought
