Just making sure that I dont need to do anything during lock down. I know it is probably self explanatory but do I still need to turn the eggs? Just want to be on the ball when mine go into lock down in 3 days.

No turning. Last three days they line themselves up to pip and hatch.
There is also some sort of bad thing called shrink wrapping them in the membrane when you open it...
I suspect this would be caused by cold air suddenly hitting the hot eggs.

Fill your water wells, to get the humidity up and then don't open the bator again. I shrink wrapped a couple of chicks, during my first hatch, because I opened the bator quickly to snatch an egg out because the chick had pipped too high up on the egg and couldn't get the top off, even after struggling with it all day.

ok sounds great, If for some reason I have to open the top can I go into the bathroom after the humidity is up and temp is up and open it then? Not planning on interupting the hatch but I am just covering my basis.
