I can't believe it but for the first time all 24 of my lovely Marans eggs look good-to-go on lock-down. Great, right? But... the eggs are so big that I can't lay them on their side for the hatch because there is no room. Just now I had to put 3 eggs on top of the rest to get them all on their side, which is making me really nervous!
What should I do here?
Leave 3 eggs on top of the others and watch the hatching like a hawk to be sure nobody gets crushed, etc?
Put virtually all of them with air sack end up as during early incubation so they are at least on the same level?
something else I haven't thought of yet??
Has this ever happened to you? Any advice is welcome! I usually have good hatches, but I have always had at least 1 quitter, so that has made room to lay the rest down, but not this time. ???
