Just wondering if its normal for eggs to jiggle on first day of lock down? Or is this a sign of distress? Temp too low?

Yeah, like its trying to get out. Short bursts of movement. Just hoping its a natural progression of things.

During this time the chicks get into position for hatching. That is why the eggs move. Sometimes you see it and sometimes they do it all very quietly and calmly and you can stare and stare and fret over those eggs, but they will not move for you. [IMG]

Ah, ok. Thought that might be it! Still, it's a relief to have that confirmed. Thank you sumi! It's fun to watch!
I know, I've got too much time on my hands! Lol!

I make time! LOL I could sit and watch them for hours when they start hatching. It's the most amazing thing to see.
