I just put my mallard egg on lockdown today. I raised her humidity to 78-80. Is that ok? Also I've seen pics of lockdowns where the walls are foggy and wet from humidity. Mine is clear and not humid looking at all. Is that ok? I thought being at 80 is pretty good. This is a small table top incubator with a fan.

For lockdown (duck and chicken eggs) I aim for 65%-70% and I found that is adequate. Once the eggs start hatching the moisture released will up the humidity even more and then you are likely to see foggy walls and panes in the incubator. Best of luck with your hatch and keep us posted!
