My first Buff Orp and RIR chicks from my birds! These guys hatched last night and this morning, they are really nice chicks! I am especially excited about the Buff Orp, my Rooster Hercules was very sick as a chick and I am so excited to have him around.

    Quote:No. Most illnesses aren't genetic.

"Sick" could mean anything. Such as Coccidiosis, swollen eyes, spraddle leg, etc. Not every disease is passed from parent to offspring.

Yep 4 RIR and a BO

I am not sure what Herc had, he was sick when I got him in a trade gone wrong, he really did not have symptoms that fit any one disease. He fought hard to live and that is the reason his name is Hercules.
Today he is a strong Goregeous Rooster!
