When I was in college (for wildlife biology) another student wrote 'balled eagle'. That still cracks me up to this day.

My mom is from Japan so I picked up some pronounciation problems from her. When I was a kid she would leave me a to-do list of chores. One day I couldn't for the life of me figure out what "Crean Millers" meant. ??? Mom came home from work and saw that I failed to complete my duties and started to yell at me. I can remember cracking up when she pointed at the wall as she was yelling and I realized... Mirrors!... Clean the mirrors!!..... I get it....now.

Also, to this day I refer to that storage compartment inside the vehicle as the 'grub-box'. LOL.

I now work in healthcare. Reading the handwriting of doctors makes the typos on internet forums look like no biggie at all.
