Heres a pullet hatched out of 25 columbian cochin eggs. Ummmm, she's NOT black, she's a grey so I "assume" she is considered a blue? LOL, dont take me wrong here, I'm just GUESSING right now what she might be? Any takers on this???

She's a sweet girl, but such a strange color. Would sure like to know what color she's considered. [IMG] Never heard of a blue columbian, but then again... [IMG]

Isn't blue columbian sometimes called "coronation"? I've seen it in sussex, but not in cochins. Sweet! Keep us posted on her [IMG]

Quote:I will post some better pics (try to) today so everyone can see the color a bit better. Never heard of the Coronation, so that's new to me. Very interesting girl though [IMG]

Quote:Lavender did cross my mind. Do they carry a buff gene as well? She's got some buffing coming in on her back, just slightly and it's really hard to see unless your right on top of her.
