Lone or Duo Male Quails

Is it OK to keep 1 or 2 male quails indoors as pets? We hatched a white coturnix, still early to sex but we really want to keep it - he was our very first hatched chick (3 days early) and the only white chick.

If it turns out to be a male, can we keep it indoors as a pet with another male or will they try to kill each other?

As long as no females are present male coturnix get along ok. They can be really noisy though when you have two together.
