My mother hen pecks at my duckling that I hatched in the incubator.

    Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I'm guessing she is pecking at it as she did not hatch the duckling. Does your hen have chicks at the moment? Please do pop by the duck section, I'm sure the members there will be able to help you out.

Good luck and enjoy BYC :frow

[IMG] glad you have joined us and congrats on the hatching.

Sounds like you will need to separate the baby from the hen. Hope all goes well, so wishing good luck with the newbie.

Please don't let her attack the duckling. She knows she didn't hatch it. Welcome to Backyard chickens.
