I got a pair of European Shelducks! they're a lil bit messed up from the ride but they should be lookin good in the fall!

Adorable. How big is that pond and how deep? I have a small pond maybe 18 inches deep in one place and about 10 ft in diameter. I wonder if it would be big enough for ducks?

yeah, be a little careful mixing the two. Egyptians can be aggressive to other ducks and geese, especially in small areas. Mine are on 5 acres with an acre pond so they tolerate the other chickens, geese and ducks pretty well, but they can be very bossy in closer quarters.

I don't have any waterfowl--only chickens. But, I love geese and have thought about getting some. I understand they are pretty messy though.
