Look what my DH made for me!!!

My wonderful DH decided that it was time to add a permanent brooder to the coop now that I have my incubator. I guess that is my "okay" to just keep hatching chicks!

We can't ever have it empty, can we?!?! The top lifts open so I can get into it for easy feeding, etc... He even built a slide out bottom into it for easy cleaning!

Pardon the poo on top. My 10 wk. olds think the brooder is their roost.

I had to add this picture! I love how my little girls are peeking out at me!

Take yours and add wheels - you got mine.

I cover mine with bubble wrap for insulation and use a heat lamp - the birds stay outside on the patio through most any SC weather.

That's the way I did it too, but my DH hasn't gotten me a incubator yet.
