I checked on our girls before I went off to work today and again........nothing in their boxes.

THEN....I came home and checked again.....

They were both in the same box next to a golf ball I put in one of the nests last night

They're perfect! I'm not sure which girls gifted these beauties, but all of the ladies are going to get a special treat tonight!

    Our Buffs & EE's are 18 weeks....and the Comets are 16 weeks....

Even though the Comets are younger I think the eggs are from them because they are the ones doing most of the submissive ducking.

When they first started I thought they were just neurotic.[IMG]

    I can't wait until tomorrow!

I love finding the "first eggs" I have some older girls who have been laying for years ~ but now I am waiting for my 19 week old mixed group to start and then I have some 16 week old Ameraucanas & Olive Eggers too!

Congrats! It is a wonderful feeling isn't it? Is this your first flock?

  9. Bet it was your Comets. Looks like the ones my sex links have been laying for the last 3 weeks. Congrats!
