Looking at my chickens for age...:-)

    A member suggested I post pictures here as I have 3 chickens and only 1 laying.[​IMG] 2 NOT

    Are you saying you don't know how old they are?
    They look to be maturing.

    I don't know exactly - they were large and seemed fairly mature when bought end of September - but only one began laying right away and has continued

    Probably about 6 months old.

    They all should be laying then if that old....

    Not necessarily this time of year with days constantly getting shorter. If they hit 6 months in the spring, then yes, they'd all be laying.

    They look close though. Bright combs and wattles. If the space between pelvic bones is 2 fingers or so, then laying is imminent.
