looking for a chick in north central indiana

Hi all,

This is my first post! I was wondering if anyone had a chick that needed a needed a home. My 4th grader hatched chicks in class and just brought home 1 chick. I think it is lonely. We do have older hens that just started to lay. So I just want a companion for the one in our brooder. I don't care what breed we have a mixed flock now

You would do better if you could get two chicks. Then is one dies, you still have company for the survivor. You might check Craig's list. I don't think there is a hatchery that would sell just two.
