    Hi all,

This is my first post! I was wondering if anyone had a chick that needed a needed a home. My 4th grader hatched chicks in class and just brought home 1 chick. I think it is lonely. We do have older hens that just started to lay. So I just want a companion for the one in our brooder. I don't care what breed we have a mixed flock now[IMG] thank you

I hope you find a couple of little buddies for your single chick, they do better with company.

You would do better if you could get two chicks. Then is one dies, you still have company for the survivor. You might check Craig's list. I don't think there is a hatchery that would sell just two.

You might try your state thread. Put state name in the search box and it will come up.
