Hi, I found a baby Australorp frizzle about a month ago. I have been raising her alone. Since I did not have a clue about raising chicks, I was reluctant to get any more babies to raise with her. Everyone is saying she needs a companion. I agree, as she has discovered her reflection in the mirror and cant seem to get enough of "playing" with it. I am hoping to find someonewith chickens near me, SF bay area in California, who would sell me a chick about her age. A rooster is fine, I just dont want her alone in the new coop I built her. I think she is scared and Im sure lonely outside by herself.
