Greetings!
I'm new to BYC and chickens in general. Currently, I'm getting set up and ready to welcome some bantam hens into our life sometime around the end of this year. Hoping for chickens with great personalities who will also be good layers (yes, I realize the eggs are smaller and I'm okay with that
). Breed wise, I was thinking Cochin Bantams, Brahma Bantams, Delaware Bantams, and am open to small, quiet, friendly hens of mixed breed as well.
I'm interested in acquiring 3 to 5 friendly bantams, and thought I'd post here to see if anyone would have some ladies ready to go at the end of this month.
If you do, let me know. If you have stories to tell about raising chickens in SLO, I'd love to hear them!
Take care!
