I am looking for Buff Orpington Pellets and cannot seem to find anything under orders of 15. I am looking for 3-5 chicks as I do not have the room for 15+. Does anyone have any for sale or know where they can be purchased in smaller quantities? I live in MA. THANKS!!

I dont know where you are, but the tractor supply in Bennington VT is going to have chicks for sale tomorrow morning. I was told they open at 8 am. Being a VERY popular chicken breed (great choice) i would bet they will have them. Its a GREAT drive too.

Ya, I'm from the Worcester area so unfortunately I think Bennington VT is a little to far out. Would be a about a 6 hr drive.

Quote:No it is not. Worcester to My town is only a little over an hour, and from here to Bennington is one hour. I drove 2 hours to get my silkies, so i dont think it is a big deal if you get what you want. And like i said, its a nice drive.

I know everyone dealing with chickens already knows this but just for my own assurance;
Pullet means a girl chick before she is a year old.
Cockerel means a boy chick before he is a year old
Am I right, I also had hard time figuring that out.
