Looking to purchase hatching egg for our first grade class to hatch in Astoria ,Or. We are in need of 4 dozen eggs and I would like a few of them to be black cooper marans for my personal flock after the kids hatch them.

Go to the "Social" forum, click on 'Where am I? Where are you!', locate your state thread and perhaps someone local can help you obtain some fertile eggs. Good luck .

Actually the place to post would be the Buy-Sell-Trade forum, but you have to have 20 posts on BYC first...I'm sure you will find what you're looking for there if you can't find any locally. Good luck! [IMG]

They are hatching olive eggers, buff favoralls, black copper marans, and a dorking hen mixed with a maran rooster. We put them in the incubator 2-27-13. I will more than likely be looking for homes the week is spring break. After I take my selection of course.
