I am seeking two of the big, old-fashioned barred rock pullets like my grandma raised. I do NOT want hatchery or production birds or their heirs. I wish to use these for breeding and want strong lines.

Kraig Shaffer of Elida, Ohio will be showing at The OHIO NATIONAL Poultry Show in Columbus November 9 & 10. With the help of a PHD geneticist that is working with Blue Rocks Kraig has developed some of the most awesome large Barred Rocks. They lay huge eggs and will weigh 6 to seven pounds in 12 weeks. If they are being shown at TheOHIO NATIONAL by a breeder with 40 years of experience you can bet they are good ones.
