but I don't think something like that would cost a lot to ship if I found some in another state, lol. THe lady I used to buy from no longer has it available... [IMG]
I'm looking for skeins that I can knit scarves with.

I know that Acres of Blessings (Angela) has a neighbor who raises Alpaca's and makes the yarn. I've been to their house and watched her make it! Try shooting Angela a PM and asking if her neighbor would be willing to sell you some yarn. [IMG]

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I have been researching alpacas for a few weeks and found www.alpacanation.com and they have a fibers section with a variety of prices for the yarn.

There's a member who just posted that her neighbor is cleaning out all her alpaca fiber on this same section of the forum. Take a peak at that one.

Quote:Fiber would be awesome if I was a spinner...which I'm not, nor do I want to be, lol. I think I have read several posts on here of members that do spin. Who knows, maybe we can wheel and deal, lol.
