Looking for local organic chicken feed!

I'm from central Virginia and I'm looking for some local organic chicken feed (layers).

Anyone sell any within an hour of Richmond, VA?

Organic feed is extremely hard to find. Until last week, I had been ordering it in from Countryside Naturals in Fishersville, VA which looks like it's about and hour and a half from Richmond. I was paying more for shipping than for feed, so you can tell I was desperate. Many people on this forum do the same thing. Just recently, we found a mill that is now making us organic feed about 2 hours from our house. That's the best thing we have so far.

I am going to guess that Countryside Naturals will be your best bet. You could buy several bags of feed and not have to make the trip very often. Their products are very, very nice.

I had come across their website, but I'm always wary of whether or not it is really a quality product. I'm glad to hear they are a good source. Unless I hear from someone else that is closer, I will probably just make the trip and stockpile.
