I know this is a very strange request, but I am an entomology graduate student. For my classification and systematics class, I need to have a very large collection of insects and identify them. I have no idea where to find poultry lice, which comprise an Order that I cannot get elsewhere.
I am hoping that someone has some poultry with these little critters and would be willing to freeze some for me and mail them to me. I can pay for the cost of shipping, of course.
Alternatively, if someone is close to the Champaign-Urbana area of Illinois, I could pick them up. Please PM me if you have seen these on your birds and are willing to assist me. Thank you!
