Looking for rare breed chicken or eggs for our kids 4H project for next year !

I am new to posting on this Forum !!!

I am very exited to visit this forum.

Our kids and I are learning a lot , and a lot from Back yard chickens.

Kids are part of the 4 H here in B.C ~ Canada and they are looking for rare chicken breeds or eggs to incubate for next year's 4h Project.

We live by the border of Bonners Ferry and Canada B.C ..... we go often to Spokane ~ Idaho

Does any one have any suggestions of rare breed chickens for shows?

if yes!! Do you know where we can get them, please?

Mypetchicken.com has a lot of different breeds to choose from. They don't have any for sale right

now however. But this winter/spring they should have some

. I believe you can also get hatching eggs there.

My favorite breeds are
Polish
Orpingtons (blue)
D'uccle
Cochins
Those aren't vary rare but they are sweet and most are fairly easy keepers
