    She looks like a gamebird mix to me. Pretty hen!

    So when you say game bird do you mean like Cornish game hen? Or something else?

    No, cornish game hens are simply the monster Cornish cross birds dressed out at about 2 weeks old. Game bird in this case means American Game Fowl, a breed traditionally bred for things that are illegal and we can't talk about on byc. The hens are great little birds, scrappy and great foragers. They lay decently and are good mommas--no one messes with their babies!
