I thought I saw some articles and instructions here on BYC for home made incubators. Now I can't seem to find them, could someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you....

At the top of the forum page there's a menu- they're under 'Coop Designs'. And here's the link! Incubators [IMG]

I made mine from a large husky foam cooler. Check out my BYC page. [IMG]

Whe you are finished with the many many designs there, try the google search feature and you will find a zillion more posts with great tidbits on constructing an incubator. USe words like WHT, light bulb, homemade incubator, heat source, temperature control, hot water heater thermostat, thermostat, wafer, dimmer, heat sinks, etc. Learn why one way is preffered over another.

And when you need help--post your problem--many will help with suggestions and good knowledge. GL

Just get a couple of Silkies! They are the bbest incubators around....without having to worry about humidity or temp or anything!
