I'd like 10 all together, and then 15-20 meat birds who will be in a separate coop/run. My layers will be my 5 BR's and the 3 Ameraucana's I've ordered. I'd like to add 2 more birds to that.....what would you suggest? I'd LOVE silkies but can't find anyone selling them closer than 2 hrs away :( I need a pretty common, easy to find bird!

Can you order two or three more birds with the Ameraucanas? For egg variety, French Marans or Welsummers would be nice. Speckled Sussex are wonderful, and Wyandottes come in so many nifty colors! In cold climates, Chanteclers. In heat, Leghorns or and Mediterranian type. Mary

Somebody has week old Harco pullets, I think I might get two of them. Is Harco the same as black sex link?
