Looking to buy silkie pullets- Modesto/Lodi, CA

Being so new to the chicken world, I have no connections. It seems like I'm on every "waiting list" possible at the few local feed stores around. Any leads would be appreciated.

Oh, I'm looking for at least 4 and up to 8. Thanks!

Yah, I only want 4 or 5. My friend wants a few more. We're both trying to find them. I'd rather specifically get pullets. The straight run seems too risky for mostly roosters, which I CANNOT have in the city! I let you know if I get any leads!

Ya know, I can buy them online. They're guaranteed pullets, but at $7 a pop!! They have a suggested order minimum of 10 for chick safety. Not sure how that would work out, though.
