These are our first chickens & our first eggs. Our girls just started laying last week, and I am just overwhelmed at how beautiful their eggs are!!! When I found a blue one today, I was so excited!!!

Is it just me, or does Olga's beard make her look like an Amish man???

Those are beautiful! I don't have any EE's, are they nice chickens that would also make good pets?

I think she's a wonderful pet. She lets me hold her like a baby. [IMG]

Beautiful eggs! And I love the BR trying to hog the picture - why are they always in the middle of EVERYTHING!

I have 4 EEs and they are wonderful pets. The OP is lucky his lets him hold her because they are known to be much shyer than most other breeds- mine included! Her beard is lovely [IMG]

Those eggs are gorgeous and so are the chickens! I love my EEs and they are my friendliest hens.
