Looks like rooster is gasping for air or going to vomit?

My 4 month old rooster is acting normally, for the most part, but the last few days he started making this noise that I thought was his crow starting, but could be a cough? And then today he started opening his beak and leaning his head forward like he might be having trouble breathing or maybe like he might puke. Any ideas what we might be dealing with?

Are you sure it's having trouble breathing? If it is, I had a chick earlier this year gasp for breath with her mouth open and gave her this, and it stopped it

Sounds like when they first learn to crow. It seems like they are about to half kill themselves, but hey they do what they do.
