I've been noticing some loose poop from some of my hens and in watching all of them I've tried to figure out why. My older hens that don't lay everyday are just fine. The young pullets and the cockerel who aren't laying are fine too. I know the cockerel won't lay. The only ones that are "runny" are the everyday layers. Does anybody know if the process of lay and being loose are somehow tied together with some hens? I don't know but it sure looks like it here. Not every layer is loose, just some of um.
