I have quite a few new Banty chicks running around. (about 12) Today i decided to let them join the other free rangers. Their 2 1/2 months old. I felt it was time. They only range on a 2 acre area and i saw no trouble in this. THEN it rained. and not just for a few minutes. I went to make sure they'd all gone to bed and 4 are missing. [IMG] I made sure all the little ones were snuggled up next to one of my standards for warmth. Hopefully they'll turn up in the morning but until then I'm worried sick. has Anyone else ever lost a chick like this? I feel like such a terrible parent. [IMG]

You don't know whether to hug them or throttle them.
