Lost former student in Iraq on Wed.

    Please keep the family of Tony Carrasco in your prayers. He was killed by a sniper in Iraq on Wed. he was only 25 and a graduate of Gadsden High. He was stationed out of Ft. Riley Kansas.

    OH NO KATE!!!! I am always so heartbroken to hear these stories. My SIL has been deployed twice, probably a third time to come next year.

    It's sad, I remember them as so young. It got buried in the Ft. Hood tragedy in the news here so many didn't even know he was killed.

    To Tony and all personnel who have lost their lives in this senseless war............. may you all be seated at the right hand of the Lord basking in the love and admiration that we all feel for all servicemen and women protecting all of us.... I salute you...... may your families be at peace as you are now..... we the living are blessed in the knowledge that we had you all there to look after us......... amen.
