lost my first chicken today!!

i came home from school today and my ma said i had a sick chicken so i went out to the shed and he was died my mam said this morning she took him in the shed and when i came home he was died he past away by Coccidiosis

That is really sad. I lost my first chicken this year and I cried. We buried her under a lovely tree. How do you know she had an illness? If you think she did and you have other chickens you should look online here and see what you need to do to protect the others.

If it was indeed coccidiosis, you might want to consider medicating all of your birds.
