Looking forward to receding hormones as I teach my Muscovy males how to behave.

I'm glad I came across this my male rouen recently started chasing me from the pen when I leave nipping at my toes and fingers I swat his head away hoping to show thats not okay. Got 2 new babies and my 2 males attack them.

Keep the babies away from the drakes this isn't a good time to have young ducklings in with drakes hormones way to high just keep them close so the drakes get use to them but can not get to them then when they get to breeding age usually around 4.5 to 5 months they are old enough to be with drakes even if they are drakes.

Thank you! We fenced off half of the run and coop for them they are about 3 months old so I'm told I think more like 2ish. I know it so bad to add to the flock now but we lost our other female this weekend and wanted to try to even numbers out before winter. Here where I live its hard to find full grown females for sale without having to drive across state lol.
