Hello! I'm new here from Rhode Island and have 4 baby Rhode Island Reds (2weeks old today). They seem to be doing great and are starting to really fill out and getting their feathers. We live on the coast, in fact in the location where the RIR was originally bred! I have a husband, 2 daughters, golden retriever, and a cat. We all are enjoying the newest members of our family, our golden gets a little excited when he sees them and I hope with time he will adjust. We have purchased a prefab coop, however are going to do some modifications to enlarge the run and make to coop more comfortable for our girls, but in the mean time we have them in a large corrugated box in the mud room. Being new to all this chicken stuff I am welcome to any suggestions or advice [IMG]
