Loves bread

My chickens love bread. The do prefer wheat to white. But, I also give them apples, peanut butter, flax seed, cranberries.... a mixture of many good things! They hear the back door open, and they come running! They will even "peck" at the backdoor to get our attention. Love my chickens

Do not feed bread to Chickens.....It can cause sour crop or impacted crop.....Other things you mentioned are fine....

Hi, welcome to BYC!

Although I agree that the other things you mentioned are fine, please keep it limited to less than 10% of their total intake. Otherwise you WILL see problems with egg laying, health, and feather picking. Don't forget that their feed has all of the nutrients needed to maintain health in confinement. And .... Chickens are just as big of beggars as my dogs!
